Vinyl Flooring
Vinyl flooring can now be created to give the appearance of a natural material and can be supplied in a variety of a colours and patterns. Vinyl is dense with a non-porous composition that gives a long lasting durability. It is available in either sheet or tile form. With exceptional colourfastness and resilience under foot, vinyl is the most practical and easy to clean option for most commercial interiors. Vinyl tiles have seen some dramatic changes in the last ten years with a bigger price and quality range now available.

There are two main types of vinyl flooring: homogenous and heterogenous. Homogenous vinyl flooring is of single layered construction and is exceptionally robust, wear and stain resistant as well as being resistant to marking by chair and table castors. Underfloor heating can be installed under homogenous vinyl flooring.
Heterogenous vinyl flooring is made up of multiple layers. This creates design prints with a variety of effects. For example, vinyl flooring that closely mimics the appearance of wood, stone or ceramic tiles is now available.

Vinyl flooring is ideal for high traffic areas and is often used in kitchens, cafes or washrooms where a water-resistant floor surface is essential. Various grades are available to cater for the needs of different work environments. We can install vinyl flooring for extremely demanding areas where very heavy wear is anticipated such as schools. ESD vinyl flooring can be installed in hospitals and factories where anti static flooring may be required. Vinyl flooring that is slip-resistant (safety flooring) is also available that are ideal for kitchen and washroom areas. Some types of vinyl even have acoustic insulation properties.

Timber Laminate Flooring
Many people choose laminated timber floors for their workplaces for their stunning good looks and durability and ease of maintenance. A laminate floor is made up of four layers. The base of timber laminate flooring is made from HDF board. This is covered with a design layer, followed by a transparent resin overlay which is highly scratch resistant, virtually stain proof and extremely durable. Underneath, a barrier layer stops rising damp and prevents the boards from deforming.
